About The Orangery
The Orangery is the signature all-day dining room of the Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa, positioned as the hotel's flagship dinner venue with a conservatory-glass room overlooking the resort's garden and the Gulf of Oman beyond. The room has earned a reputation along the coast for its Beef Wellington — consistently cited by UAE press as one of the best in the country — and for a breakfast buffet that anchors the resort's weekend business.
The dining room is a high-ceilinged glass pavilion with white tablecloths, natural light through the day, and candle-lit banquettes at night. Capacity is about 120 across indoor tables and a garden terrace. The cooking is modern British with a Continental pivot: the Beef Wellington is the signature, the Dover sole meunière is the alternate, the Sunday roast runs 12.30–4 PM every Sunday with live carving station.
The dessert programme is strong — the Chelsea bun (a hotel breakfast signature elevated at dinner), the classic sticky toffee pudding, and a house chocolate fondant that arrives tableside. Afternoon tea service (2–5 PM) is a Fujairah weekend ritual.
The wine list is the strongest British-angle sleeve in Al Aqah — English sparkling wine alongside Old World Bordeaux and Burgundy, a proper Scotch and Irish-whisky programme, and a sherry cart. Service is hotel-international, unhurried, and polite in the British tradition. Reservations are straightforward mid-week; Sunday lunch books a week ahead.
Why It's Perfect for First Date
The Orangery is the first-date room in Fujairah for the couple who want a conservatory-style classical evening rather than a beach-deck event. The Sunday roast is the conversational lunch alternative. For team dinners and family birthdays, the garden terrace long-table is the group book; the Wellington-and-sticky-toffee finish is the ordered menu for a ten-person dinner.
