The Room
Le Sommelier opened on Bredgade in 1996 — Copenhagen's longest-running serious wine-led French institution. Twenty-nine years later the room remains the working argument for what French-fine-dining can mean in the city's wine-led register.
The Wine Spectator Award of Excellence recognises the wine programme.
The Food
The menu runs French-fine-dining classic. The seasonal-rotating preparations, the wood-grilled secondi handle the menu's spine.
Wine programme is heavily French — Bordeaux, Burgundy, Loire, Rhône — with a Champagne by-the-glass programme.
