IDAM by Alain Ducasse sits on the top floor of the Museum of Islamic Art, the highest-rated kitchen with a view in Doha and the obvious place to start. The city stacks its best high tables in two clusters, the West Bay and Lusail towers and the museum-and-Corniche line, and Qatar's first Michelin Guide, announced in late 2024, sorted them out. This list ranks rooftop and top-floor rooms on the view, the cooking and the bar together, and notes honestly where the room pours mocktails rather than wine. Six, ranked, with who each suits and how to book.
1.IDAM by Alain Ducasse
Doha's only Michelin-starred view room, atop the Museum of Islamic Art. Book it for the city's best top-floor dinner.
IDAM occupies the fifth floor of the Museum of Islamic Art, with Philippe Starck's surreal interiors and the Corniche and skyline through the glass. Alain Ducasse's concept is run by head chef Fabrice Rosso, and the tender camel with foie gras is the signature dish; the six-course Experience menu is QAR 560 and the eight-course dinner QAR 690. It took a Michelin star in Qatar's first guide in 2025, the only starred view room in the city. This is the booking for the most serious top-floor dinner in Doha. Reserve two to three weeks ahead and take the longer menu.
Book through the museum; take the eight-course menu and order the camel.
2.Nobu Doha
The world's largest Nobu, a pearl-shaped building with a rooftop terrace over the bay. Best for black cod and a late crowd.
Nobu Doha is the largest Nobu in the world, a free-standing three-storey building shaped like a pearl on the Four Seasons waterfront in West Bay, with a dining level, a bar and a rooftop terrace over the sea. Head chef Mauro Baldari runs the kitchen, and the black cod miso is the order at around QAR 235, with tasting menus at QAR 375, 555 and 680; the room sits in the Michelin Guide and marked its tenth year in 2025. This is the booking for a glamorous, late-running dinner with a view and a full bar. Reserve two weeks ahead and ask for a terrace table.
Book on the Nobu site; take a terrace table and order the black cod.
3.STK Doha
A 23rd-floor steakhouse with the Gulf and the Pearl in the windows. Book it for wagyu with a skyline.
STK Doha sits on the 23rd floor of the Ritz-Carlton at West Bay Lagoon, a modern steakhouse from The ONE Group with panoramic windows over the Gulf, the Pearl and the skyline. The wagyu Tajima tenderloin is the order, and the room runs an accessible two-course business lunch at QAR 90 alongside a weekend brunch from QAR 275 to 495; it opened in 2018. The lounge-and-grill format makes it as much a night out as a dinner. This is the booking for a high-floor steak dinner that turns into a late one. Reserve a week ahead and ask for a window table.
Book on the STK site; take a window table and order the Tajima tenderloin.
4.Provok
A two-floor pan-Asian room high over Lusail with teppanyaki theatre. Best for a long dinner above the towers.
Provok rises across the 33rd and 34th floors of the Fairmont Doha in the Katara Towers in Lusail, a pan-Asian room with a sushi-and-cold level below and robata, teppanyaki and Korean barbecue on the fire floor above. The Alaskan king crab roll with za'atar and coffee aioli is the signature, and the teppanyaki runs QAR 500 a head; the hotel opened in 2022. It runs late, to 1am, with a real bar. This is the booking for a long, theatrical dinner high above the new city. Reserve a week ahead and book the teppanyaki counter.
Book ahead; reserve the teppanyaki counter and order the king crab roll.
5.Iksha 360
The region's tallest Indian dining room, 40 floors over the Pearl. Pencil it in for a sky-high lobster biryani.
Iksha 360 sits on the 40th floor of Pearl Tower 1 in the Abraj Quartier at The Pearl, billed as the tallest Indian restaurant in the region, with a wraparound view over the island and the Gulf. The contemporary Indian menu runs to a lobster biryani and a truffle naan, with mains from QAR 90 to 200 and dinner around QAR 200 to 350 a head. As a tower restaurant outside a hotel it pours mocktails rather than alcohol, worth knowing before you book. This is the booking for a sky-high Indian dinner with the view doing the work. Reserve a few days ahead and ask for a window table.
Book direct; take a window table and order the lobster biryani.
6.Three Sixty
Qatar's only revolving restaurant, 47 floors up The Torch. Best for the slow-turning view, mocktails in hand.
Three Sixty is the only revolving restaurant in Qatar, on the 47th floor of The Torch Doha in Aspire Zone, turning slowly through a full view of the city and the Gulf. The kitchen runs an international menu, grilled Omani lobster and wagyu among the orders, at around QAR 250 a head, and the room took a place in the Luxury Lifestyle Awards' top restaurants list in 2023. As a dry venue it serves mocktails only. This is the booking for the view above all, a slow turn over the skyline. Reserve a few days ahead and ask for an outer-ring table.
Book ahead; take an outer-ring table and let the room turn through the view.
Not for a rooftop dinner
Great rooftop, no kitchen
Sky View at La Cigale. The hotel's rooftop has one of the better views in Doha, but it runs as a cocktail lounge with bar-bites rather than a dining room, with no signature kitchen and no real menu to plan a dinner around. Go for the view and a drink, and book one of the six above when you want to eat well.
The pure rooftop lounges. Several West Bay towers run rooftop bars that serve snacks once the kitchen winds down. They are a fine first stop for the skyline, but the dinner belongs at IDAM, Nobu or STK.
How to book a high table in Doha
The view rooms cluster in two places, the West Bay and Lusail towers and the museum-and-Corniche line, so pick your skyline first and book ahead for a window or terrace table. The starred room, IDAM, goes first; reserve it two to three weeks out. Remember that the standalone tower restaurants are often dry, pouring mocktails rather than wine, while the hotel rooms carry a full bar.

Frequently asked
Which Doha restaurant has the best rooftop view?
IDAM by Alain Ducasse, on the top floor of the Museum of Islamic Art, pairs the best view-room kitchen in the city with a sweep over the Corniche and skyline, and it is the only one with a Michelin star. For a pure turning panorama, Three Sixty on the 47th floor of The Torch is the highest table in town.
Does Doha have a revolving restaurant?
Yes. Three Sixty, on the 47th floor of The Torch Doha in Aspire Zone, is the only revolving restaurant in Qatar, turning slowly through a full view of the city and the Gulf. It is a dry venue, so it serves mocktails rather than wine, and it runs an international menu with grilled Omani lobster among the orders.
Which Doha rooftop restaurants serve alcohol?
The hotel rooms carry a full bar, so IDAM, Nobu Doha, STK at the Ritz-Carlton and Provok at the Fairmont all pour wine and cocktails. The standalone tower restaurants, including Iksha 360 at The Pearl and Three Sixty at The Torch, are dry venues that serve mocktails only, which is worth confirming before you book.
Is there a Michelin-starred rooftop restaurant in Doha?
IDAM by Alain Ducasse, on the fifth floor of the Museum of Islamic Art, took a Michelin star in Qatar's first guide in 2025, the only starred top-floor view room in the city. Head chef Fabrice Rosso runs the kitchen, with the tender camel and foie gras the signature dish.
How much is dinner at Doha's rooftop restaurants?
Plan on a wide range. IDAM's tasting menus run QAR 560 to 690 and Nobu's reach QAR 680, while Provok's teppanyaki is QAR 500 and Iksha 360 and Three Sixty sit lower at roughly QAR 200 to 350 a head. STK runs an accessible QAR 90 business lunch alongside its evening steakhouse pricing.
