Doha takes its weekend brunch seriously, and here that means a destination meal: live stations and free-flowing pours at a West Bay hotel, a Cantonese feast at the St Regis, or a Friday spread at the largest Nobu in the world, out on its own pier. The best run as proper restaurant brunches rather than buffets to endure. These six, ranked, are where to spend a Doha weekend in 2026.
1.Nobu Doha
The largest Nobu in the world runs its Friday brunch on a private pier; black cod and yellowtail at the centre.
Nobu Doha, the flagship and largest Nobu globally, sits on its own pier at the Four Seasons in West Bay. The Friday brunch from 1 to 4 p.m. runs the Matsuhisa signatures, black cod miso, yellowtail jalapeno and the new-style sashimi, with packages from 375 riyals on soft drinks up to 680 for an enhanced Nobu selection.
The setting, three storeys of glass over the water, is the most dramatic brunch room in the city. Come on a Friday for the full a la carte and set spread, and book the terrace if the weather is kind. A Saturday lunch runs too for anyone who misses the Friday seating.
2.Hakkasan Doha
A Cantonese fine-dining brunch at the St Regis; lobster har gau, Peking duck and dim sum, not a buffet line.
Hakkasan at the St Regis in West Bay runs its Hakka Brunch on Fridays from noon to 4 p.m., a sit-down Cantonese feast rather than a buffet. Lobster har gau, Peking duck, shu mai and ribeye come in waves, with packages around 308 riyals on soft drinks and 498 with house beverages.
This is the brunch for anyone who wants a kitchen cooking to order at the table rather than a chafing line. Come on a Friday, pace yourself across the dim sum, and leave the buffet idea at the door. A separate dim sum lunch runs on Saturdays for a lighter visit.
3.Spice Market
A lively Southeast Asian brunch at the W with live dim sum, satay and noodle stations; built for a group.
Spice Market at the W Doha in West Bay, a concept rooted in Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Southeast Asian cooking, runs a Friday brunch from noon to 4 p.m. Live stations turn out dim sum, satay, noodles, curries, seafood and sushi, with packages from 275 riyals on soft drinks to 375 on a premium beverage pour.
The room runs loud and upbeat, family-friendly and built for a table of friends. Come on a Friday with a group, work the stations, and lean into the energy. It is the most sociable brunch on the list and good value for the spread.
4.Four Seasons Friday Brunch
The hotel-wide international brunch at the Four Seasons; live stations drawing from every outlet under one roof.
The Four Seasons in West Bay runs its signature Friday brunch from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m., a hotel-wide international spread pulling live stations and buffets from across the property's restaurants. Packages run around 340 riyals on soft drinks and 450 with house beverages, with a wide range that suits mixed tastes.
This is the classic grand-hotel brunch, broad rather than focused, and a safe pick for a large or undecided group. Come on a Friday, graze across the cuisines, and use the long window to take it slow. It sits a notch below the focused single-kitchen brunches above on character but wins on range.
5.Saffron
A Saturday Thai brunch high above the city at the Banyan Tree; four sharing courses with skyline views.
Saffron at the Banyan Tree, on the 24th floor of the La Cigale tower, runs its Siam Brunch on Saturdays from 12:30 to 4 p.m. The format is a four-course Thai sharing menu rather than a buffet, with skyline views, and packages from 269 riyals on soft drinks to 479 on a sparkling pour.
It is the best Saturday option on a Friday-heavy list, and the sit-down sharing format makes a calmer brunch than the station-led rooms. Come on a Saturday for the views and the Thai cooking, and book a window table. A welcome change of pace from the buffet circuit.
6.Sukar Pasha Ottoman Lounge
A rooftop Ottoman brunch at Katara, off the hotel circuit, with sea and skyline views every day.
Sukar Pasha Ottoman Lounge sits on a rooftop at the Katara Cultural Village, a standalone Turkish and Ottoman room rather than a hotel outlet. It serves a daily brunch from noon to 5 p.m., pausing for Friday prayer, with mezze, grills and Ottoman sweets framed by sea and skyline views.
As the one non-hotel brunch on the list, it is the pick for anyone wanting Qatari setting over a buffet hall. Come for the rooftop and the Turkish spread, ideally late morning before it fills. Confirm the current brunch price when you book, as the standalone venue prices it separately.
Not for everyone
Famous, but not a weekend brunch
IDAM by Alain Ducasse. The Alain Ducasse room atop the Museum of Islamic Art is the best fine-dining table in Qatar, ranked on MENA's 50 Best, but it serves a dinner tasting and afternoon tea only. There is no weekend brunch here; book it for an evening instead.
Morimoto Doha. The Mondrian's Japanese room does run a brunch, but only on the first Friday of each month rather than weekly. Lovely when it lands, unreliable as a standing weekend plan, so check the date before you count on it.
La Spiga by Paper Moon. The W's Italian room serves lunch and dinner from noon to midnight, but we found no dedicated weekend brunch service. Go for a long Italian lunch, and book Spice Market in the same hotel if brunch is the point.
How to brunch in Doha
Doha brunch is a weekend event, and most of the best run on Fridays in the West Bay hotel cluster, where Nobu, Hakkasan, Spice Market and the Four Seasons spread sit within a short drive of one another. Saturday options are fewer, so Saffron at the Banyan Tree and the daily rooftop at Sukar Pasha fill that gap.
Brunches here come in packages, usually a soft-drinks rate and a higher one with house or sparkling pours, so check which you are booking. Decide what you want first: a focused single-kitchen feast like Nobu or Hakkasan, a station-led group spread like Spice Market, or a calmer sit-down like Saffron. Book ahead, as the best Friday seatings sell out.
Frequently asked
What is the best Friday brunch in Doha?
Nobu Doha runs the most dramatic Friday brunch, the Matsuhisa signatures served out on a private pier at the Four Seasons. For a Cantonese feast cooked to order rather than a buffet, Hakkasan's Hakka Brunch at the St Regis is the strongest, and Spice Market at the W is the liveliest station-led option for a group.
Is brunch in Doha just a hotel buffet?
Not all of it. The best brunches are proper restaurant meals: Nobu and Hakkasan serve focused single-kitchen menus to the table, and Saffron at the Banyan Tree runs a four-course Thai sharing brunch. The station-led hotel spreads, like Spice Market and the Four Seasons brunch, are buffet-style but cooked to order at live stations.
How much does brunch cost in Doha?
Most run as packages. A soft-drinks rate typically starts around 269 to 340 riyals, rising to roughly 375 to 555 with a house or premium beverage pour, depending on the venue. Nobu's enhanced selection reaches 680 riyals. Confirm which package your booking covers before you arrive.
Are there Saturday brunches in Doha?
Yes, though they are fewer than Fridays. Saffron at the Banyan Tree runs its Siam Brunch on Saturdays with skyline views, and Sukar Pasha at Katara serves a daily brunch that covers the weekend. Hakkasan also runs a lighter dim sum lunch on Saturdays, separate from its Friday Hakka Brunch.
Where is the best brunch view in Doha?
For the water, Nobu Doha sits on its own pier at the Four Seasons with three storeys of glass over the Gulf. For the skyline, Saffron at the Banyan Tree looks out from the 24th floor, and Sukar Pasha's rooftop at Katara frames both the sea and the towers. Book a window or terrace table at any of them.
