About Persian Dinner Restaurant

Persian Dinner Restaurant is a Shiraz dining destination in a formal Persian-garden setting near the city's iconic Eram Garden (the UNESCO-listed Persian garden that's the prototype for Shiraz's garden-design tradition). The restaurant occupies a converted historic building with a hand-built Persian garden in the courtyard — cypress trees, Persian-tile-rimmed reflecting pools, narcissus and rose plantings — that gives the dinner setting one of the city's most distinctive atmospheres.

The menu is broad Persian classics with a Shiraz emphasis. Mixed Chelo Kabab ($24), Tahchin Bademjan ($20), Khoresh-e Ghormeh Sabzi ($16), Kalam Polo Shirazi ($16), Faloodeh-and-Bastani dessert combination ($8). A meal of three Persian classics with rice, dessert, and tea for two runs $50-70.

The room is the architectural set-piece. The covered indoor section (used in winter and during rain) seats forty in a traditional dining-hall format; the outdoor garden terrace (used in spring through fall, May to October) seats sixty in scattered table arrangements among the cypress trees and along the reflecting-pool edge. Capacity is more than one hundred when both sections are used. Reservations matter for the garden terrace on weekend evenings.

What makes Persian Dinner the right Shiraz garden-setting choice is the architectural authenticity — the restaurant's Persian garden is a proper hand-built example rather than a tourist-shortcut version, and the post-dinner walk back through the formal Eram Garden gates a few blocks away gives the evening a built-in cultural-tourism narrative.

Best Occasion Fit

Team dinners with visiting colleagues — the outdoor-garden terrace absorbs eight to fifteen and the Persian-garden setting gives the meal a built-in cultural anchor. As a first date in May-October, the candlelit garden tables are some of the most romantic dinner settings in southern Iran. Birthdays absorb easily; the multi-course Persian-classics format scales well.
