The Room
Mireio opened on the second floor of Raffles Makati in 2018, named for the heroine of Frédéric Mistral's Provençal poem. The dining room is dressed in Belle-Époque register — Murano glass chandeliers, brass detail, banquette seating in muted silk, Provence-tile floor — with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Makati skyline.
The dining room seats 90. Service is brigade-French in rhythm with Filipino floor warmth. The booking window is two to three weeks for weekend evenings.
The Food
The kitchen runs French Provençal classics — bouillabaisse, soupe au pistou, daube de bœuf, tian de légumes, ratatouille — alongside seasonal mains that pull from Filipino sourcing through a Provence lens. The cheese cart is one of Manila's deepest; the dessert programme runs to a serious soufflé.
Wine programme is French-led with serious Provence and Rhône Valley benches. Cocktails before the meal are Provençal-aperitivi (pastis, kir royale, the seasonal-fruit spritz).
Best Occasion Fit
Proposal: Mireio's window two-top facing the Makati skyline at sunset is one of Manila's most-photographed proposal seats. Notify the staff at booking; the kitchen and floor will arrange the moment.
Birthday: Birthdays at Mireio carry the Raffles register — a candle on the soufflé, a signed menu, the captain's restrained acknowledgement.
Close a Deal: Mireio is the Makati deal dinner for the agreement that requires the Raffles-Hotel signal. The address is the host's quiet credit-builder.
