Olive at JW Marriott Khao Lak

Olive is the Italian restaurant inside the JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort and by a distance the resort's most reliable celebration room. The dining space is mostly outdoor — a tiled garden with long olive trees, lit by paper lanterns — with a covered back room for rain. The kitchen runs a wood-fired oven and an in-house pasta station.

The menu is classically Italian: thin-crust Neapolitan pizzas, hand-cut pastas with straightforward sauces (carbonara, cacio e pepe, a black-truffle tagliolini on the seasonal menu), and a grilled-protein section that usually includes a fish of the day from the Andaman. Wine list is solid, Italian-heavy, with a reasonable glass pour programme.
