Ta-Krai splits its dining space into three formats: a Thai à la carte floor, a sushi counter, and a teppanyaki room with two chef stations, each seating eight. The kitchen is Japanese-trained but the menu leans Thai-Japanese — nigiri using Andaman fish, teppanyaki featuring Thai pork from the Pattani highlands, a Thai tasting menu that runs classic green curry through to a house tom kha.

The teppanyaki format is the reason to book for a group. Eight guests sit at one counter, one chef cooks for all of them, and the shared meal breaks hierarchy in a way a long table cannot. For groups larger than eight, the restaurant can run two parallel counters with synchronized menus.

The à la carte floor is the fallback. It seats fifty, scales for large groups, and runs a shared-plate format that is forgiving to indecisive tables.
