About Momo Grill
Momo Grill operates as the Kaunas Old Town's most reliable serious steakhouse. The room is large and properly set up for groups — long sharing tables, an open Mibrasa charcoal grill, leather banquettes, and a private semi-open dining alcove that comfortably seats twelve.
The kitchen runs a serious dry-aged programme: imported Argentinian Angus and Hereford alongside Lithuanian-aged cuts, hand-cut to order, finished over Spanish charcoal. The starters lean Latin — empanadas, ceviche, a properly executed beef tartare — and the sides do the work that bad steakhouses skip: smoked potato purée, charred leek, properly seasoned creamed spinach.
The wine list is built around Argentinian Malbec, Spanish Tempranillo, Italian Super-Tuscans and a useful Eastern-European section for guests who prefer to stay closer to home. The cocktail list is unusually serious for Kaunas — a proper old-fashioned, a smoked-paprika negroni, a house-made fernet.
Group bookings are the room's particular strength: Momo runs corporate dinners, team celebrations and stag-and-hen circuits of 12 to 30 covers without losing service quality. A three-course dinner with wine lands around 60 EUR per guest, with a fixed group menu starting at 45.
Why It's Perfect for Team Dinner
Momo Grill is the Kaunas team-dinner room. The shared sharing-platter format takes ordering pressure off everyone, the long tables actually allow conversation across the group, the wine list is broad enough that the wine-curious in the team can argue happily, and the room can run a 20-cover company dinner without anyone feeling rushed. Book the private alcove for groups over twelve.
