The Room
Brasserie du Parc opened with the Le Méridien Houston downtown in 2017 — the hotel's French-brasserie expression, with chef Philippe Verpiand (also of Etoile Cuisine in Memorial) running the kitchen. The dining room overlooks Discovery Green park and runs a serious French-brasserie programme at the Le Méridien hotel-restaurant register.
The Houston Press has held Brasserie du Parc in its top-twenty downtown rankings every year of operation. The Discovery Green location handles convention-week working dinners and downtown date-night service.
The Food
The menu is brasserie-classic. Escargots, country-style pâté, steak frites, Dover sole, the seasonal-rotating French specials — every dish executed at fine-dining technique.
Wine programme runs French. Cocktails are classic-French. Service is brigade-French in rhythm.
