The Room
The Cofoco group opened Höst in Indre By in 2010 — a serious chef-driven New Nordic dining room designed by NORM Architects, dedicated to the proposition that Copenhagen needed a Nordic-tasting-menu destination at a casual price. Fifteen years later the room is one of Copenhagen's most-photographed dining-room interiors.
The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards named Höst Restaurant of the Year shortly after opening. The format reads as Noma-aesthetic at one-third the price.
The Food
The three-course set menu at 395 DKK is Copenhagen's best-value tasting menu — the kitchen runs seasonal-Danish preparations, the foraged-vegetable opening, the New Nordic seafood mid-course, the rotating dessert.
Wine programme runs Nordic-natural. Cocktails are short and Nordic-spice-led.
