About No.7

No.7 Healesville is the chef-driven casual-contemporary dining room of the Healesville family — opened in 2018 on the Maroondah Highway in Healesville town centre — and is the village's most reliable mid-tier evening dining. The space is a converted 1970s shopfront with a wood-fired pizza oven at the back and forty-eight covers across two rooms.

The menu runs wood-fired pizzas, local produce and a relaxed atmosphere. Signatures include a wood-fired Yarra Valley pizza with Margaret River Wagyu and native-pepper-leaf; a hand-rolled tagliolino with Yarra Valley black truffle; a slow-cooked Yarra Valley Wagyu shoulder; a wood-fired Murray cod; the famous 'native-honey panna cotta'.

The wine list runs to 200 references with deep Yarra Valley smallholder coverage. Glass pours start at A$10.

Service is family-run.

Why It's Perfect for Team Dinner

No.7 Healesville is the team-dinner room in the Yarra Valley — the wood-fired pizza format is shared-style, the kitchen runs at a friendly mid-tier register, and the room's volume on a weekend is celebratory. Book the long table for a group of six.
