The Room
Lupo Verde opened on 14th Street in 2014 — a serious neighbourhood Italian dining room. The dining room is intentionally relaxed: a long bar at the front, banquettes along the eastern wall, a wood-fire pizza oven visible from most tables.
Eater DC has held Lupo Verde on its top-14th-Street rankings every year of operation.
The Food
The pasta programme is hand-rolled daily. The wood-fire pizza programme runs four rotating pies. The seasonal-rotating Italian secondi handle the menu's wider draws.
Wine programme is Italian. Cocktails are aperitivi-led.
