"Filip Fastén's relaxed follow-up to the Michelin-starred Agrikultur plates French-Nordic sharing dishes under the Golden Bridge for an easy first date."
About Krog Agrikultur
Krog Agrikultur is chef Filip Fastén's relaxed bistro and wine bar at Franska Bukten, under the new Golden Bridge at Slussen on the edge of Södermalm. It is the sociable successor to his Agrikultur, the Vasastan room that held a Michelin star from 2018 until it closed in December 2022, and it has become one of the livelier tables in our Stockholm guide. Fastén was named Swedish Chef of the Year in 2014.
The format is a deliberate step down from fine-dining formality: rounded tables, à la carte plates meant to be shared, and staff in matching dungarees. The cooking is French bistro in spirit with a Nordic backbone of Swedish produce. For why a long-running team tends to outlast the trend-led rooms, see our guide to the signs of a great restaurant.
The Kitchen
The kitchen reads as French bistro filtered through Nordic seasons: well-composed plates built to be ordered several at a time and passed around the table, leaning on Swedish seafood, game and roots at their peak. The wine list is a draw in its own right, weighted toward grower bottles. Two people sharing several dishes with a couple of glasses each land near 1,100 SEK a head, which is fair value for the pedigree behind the stove.
The Room
The room sits under the rebuilt Golden Bridge in the Slussen redevelopment, with space for around eighty-five guests inside plus an outdoor terrace, run with the energy of a wine bar rather than a hushed dining room. Service is relaxed but professional, quick with plate changes and strong on drink pairings. It is built for sociable evenings, which is why it suits a first date or a group as readily as a quiet dinner.
Best for an easy first date or a sociable group dinner
Take a rounded table for a low-pressure first date over shared plates and grower wine; the buzz and the format also make it a strong team dinner or birthday.
Not for
A silent, white-tablecloth tasting-menu evening: this is the chef's relaxed, sociable bistro, built around sharing plates and wine-bar energy.
