The Room
Laurie Raphaël opened in 1991 on rue Dalhousie in the Saint-Roch / Old Port. Daniel Vallière runs the kitchen with daughter Marie-Chantal in the dining room; the restaurant has held the Saint-Roch fine-dining flagship designation for over thirty years and was awarded a Michelin star in the inaugural 2025 Quebec selection.
The dining room seats 75. Service is brigade-French, formal and warm.
The Food
The five-course tasting at $165 rotates seasonally and pulls from Charlevoix and Île aux Grues sourcing. Wine programme is French-Quebec with serious depth.
