It tries to be the best version of itself: a harbourside seafood taverna where the fish is fresh, the wine list is simple but sound, and the dining room feels like it belongs to this specific place on earth. On a warm evening with the sun dropping behind the castle ruins, the Pelican delivers something that no amount of fine dining theatre can manufacture.
