The Room
Fauna opened in 2014 on Bank Street in Centretown. Jon Svazas runs the kitchen as a modern-Canadian project with serious sourcing through Ottawa Valley producers. The dining room seats 80; the booking window is one to three weeks.
Service is small-team and floor-warm.
The Food
The chef's tasting at $95 rotates monthly. The cocktail programme is one of Ottawa's most-photographed.
