About Smith & Wollensky Miami

Smith & Wollensky Miami Beach occupies a freestanding building at the southern tip of South Pointe Park with unobstructed views of Government Cut and the cruise-ship channel. The waterfront terrace seats approximately 120 and is among the most in-demand sunset tables on Miami Beach from November through April.

The kitchen runs the full Smith & Wollensky steakhouse programme — USDA Prime dry-aged for 28 days in-house, Colorado rack of lamb, surf-and-turf lobster, and the tableside Stilton service on a silver-wheeled cart. Steaks run $65-135. The wine list is 550 labels deep with a strong California section.

The dining experience is old-school American steakhouse translated to a Miami waterfront — crisp service, white tablecloths, a bar programme anchored in classic cocktails rather than house inventions. Reservations for 7:30pm with the cruise-ship-passage view carry a two-week lead time in high season and should be requested specifically.

Best Occasion Fit

Smith & Wollensky closes deals with the view doing half the work. The waterfront dining room, the cruise-ship sunset, and the classical steakhouse pacing combine into a room where conversation proceeds at the speed of the wine service rather than the DJ.
