About Seaspice
Seaspice operates on NW North River Drive at a Miami River private-yacht dock and is one of a small number of Miami restaurants with its own guest-yacht mooring alongside the dining terrace. The dining room opened in 2014, runs approximately 250 seats between indoor and terrace, and has built its reputation on the waterfront arrivals-and-departures theatre as much as on the kitchen.
The menu is Mediterranean seafood-led: branzino and Dover sole grilled whole, a signature octopus carpaccio, a two-kilogram dry-aged ribeye with bone marrow, a caviar service that runs to six tins. Dinners land $110-175 per person. The wine list is 350 labels and the champagne programme is substantial.
The dining terrace is the signal feature — 120 seats immediately adjacent to the river and the guest-yacht dock with constant arrivals through dinner service on weekends. The visual experience is effectively unique in Miami; dining is paced around the slow rhythm of the yacht traffic rather than the kitchen.
Best Occasion Fit
Seaspice anchors a birthday with the yacht traffic doing the visual work. The riverfront terrace, the whole-fish kitchen, and the natural cinematic pacing combine into an evening that progresses without prompting from the dining room's soundtrack or lighting.
