Ocean Prime Miami opened in Aventura in 2019 as part of the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants group's national upscale-casual steakhouse-and-seafood portfolio. The Aventura location is among the higher-grossing in the chain and serves as a north-of-downtown alternative to the Brickell and Miami Beach power dining rooms.
The menu is split between steakhouse classics (bone-in filet, prime New York strip, Japanese A5 wagyu by the ounce) and a substantial seafood programme (sea bass, Chilean black cod, the signature lobster bisque finished tableside with sherry). Steaks run $55-140. The wine list is 250 labels with a broad Napa section.
The dining room is quieter than most South Beach equivalents — lower ceilings, deeper booths, a service style that leans corporate rather than theatrical. This is the steakhouse that works for a 7pm deal dinner with an out-of-town counterpart who wants to be back to the Aventura-area hotel by 9:30pm without the South Beach traffic or the nightclub overlay.
