About Grill & Fish
Grill & Fish has been feeding Jūrmala weekenders on the top end of Jomas iela for nearly two decades. The room is bright, family-run, and designed around a central wood-fired grill that turns out most of the menu. In summer the terrace doubles the capacity.
The menu is exactly what the name says: Baltic fish and regional grill-work, generously portioned. Grilled zander with brown butter and capers. Smoked salmon bruschetta. A full rack of Latvian pork ribs, slow-cooked then finished over fire. Burgers from local Angus. Half-chickens roasted under a brick. A proper children's menu — Grill & Fish is the Jūrmala restaurant that feeds three generations on a Sunday without blinking.
Wine is short, sensible, and priced fairly. Local beer is poured correctly; the house Riga Black Balsam cocktail at the end of dinner has earned a small following of regulars.
Service is quick, friendly, and handles a table of eight as comfortably as a couple. Dinner for two with a drink lands at 70–110€. For a no-drama evening on the coast — a family, a work group, a casual date — nothing in Jūrmala is easier to love.
Why It's Perfect for Team Dinner
Grill & Fish is the team-dinner room in Jūrmala and the Sunday-family default. The menu handles picky eaters and carnivores on the same page, the prices don't punish the host, and the room has enough energy that a corporate eight-top blends in. For a casual working-week evening after a Riga meeting day, it is the obvious choice.
