Vicky Lau, whose Tate Dining Room holds two Michelin stars, opened Jija in late 2025 as a showcase of Southwest China, inspired by her travels through Yunnan and Guizhou. It is a sharp change of register from Tate's French-Chinese refinement toward the bold, sour-hot flavours of the region.
Jija is one of Hong Kong's most talked-about new rooms, extending one of the city's most respected chefs into territory rarely given the fine-dining treatment.
