The Room
Rosio Sanchez (Noma's former head pastry chef) opened Hija de Sanchez in Torvehallerne in 2015 — a Mexican-American chef working Mexican-tradition tacos at the level of any in America, with an in-house masa programme. The format is intentionally counter-only.
Eater Copenhagen has held Hija de Sanchez on its top-twenty rankings every year of operation.
The Food
The masa programme runs in-house — the daily-rotating taco preparations, the seasonal-rotating Mexican fillings, the elote and esquites.
Beer programme runs Danish-craft. Cocktails are short and considered.
