Almanak opened with The Standard in 2017 — the Standard Hotel's harbour-side dining room, located in Copenhagen's old customs-house with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the Inner Harbour. The dining room is intentionally cinematic.
Eater Copenhagen has held Almanak on its top-Indre-By rankings every year of operation.
The Food
The menu runs modern-Danish with Mid-Atlantic influences. The seasonal-rotating Danish preparations, the harbour-seafood programme, the chef's tasting at 595 DKK handle the menu's wider draws.
Wine programme tilts toward Champagne and small-producer Nordic. Cocktails are classic-Danish.
