About Impronta
Impronta opened in 2019 in Longuelo, a residential quarter on the western edge of Bergamo Bassa. Chef-proprietor Cristian Fagone (ex Da Vittorio) brought the training of a three-starred kitchen to a thirty-two-seat neighbourhood room, and the result is one of the best-priced serious meals in the city.
The menu runs short — five starters, five mains, a four-course tasting. Cooking is technically assured and ingredient-driven: beetroot risotto with gorgonzola and crushed hazelnuts; pigeon cooked two ways with black garlic; casoncelli with brown butter and sage that uses his grandmother's pasta recipe.
The dining room is restrained — white walls, simple wooden tables, an open kitchen along one wall. The noise floor stays low, which makes Impronta an unexpectedly good business-lunch room in a city that otherwise does loud trattorias.
The wine list is short but considered — forty labels, strong on small Lombardy producers, with a well-priced by-the-glass range. Fagone's wife Valeria runs the floor and pacing.
Why It's Perfect for Close a Deal
Impronta is where Bergamo business lunches happen. The room is quiet, the tasting menu has the rhythm a three-hour meeting needs, and the bill — at half the Da Vittorio tariff — stays on budget. For a meeting you want to signal seriously without making it about the restaurant, Impronta is the right compromise.
