About Champers
Champers is the institutional luxury South Coast dining room. Opened in 1996 and continuously operated since, located on Skeetes Hill in Christ Church on the beautiful Accra Beach with the restaurant sitting on the water's edge overlooking the beautiful bay. Champers is renowned for its premium service and food, not to mention the impeccable views of the ocean.
The cuisine is contemporary Caribbean. Signatures include a Caribbean-flying-fish escabeche; a slow-cooked Caribbean lamb shoulder with West-Indian spices; a hand-cut Caribbean tuna tartare; a wood-fired Caribbean snapper with samphire; the famous 'pavlova Champers' for the dessert course.
The wine list runs to 350 references with deep French Champagne coverage.
The dining room and clifftop terrace together hold ninety-six covers.
