Kayuputi is the signature restaurant of the St Regis on the Nusa Dua sands, an all-white pavilion run by chef Agung Gede. Sunday belongs to the Astor Brunch, a champagne-and-caviar service that opens with aperitifs from eleven and runs a pass-around feast through the afternoon, from about IDR 1,650,000 a head. It is the most extravagant Sunday table on the island and the one out-of-towners fly in for. Book a week ahead in high season, take the package with the caviar trolley, and ask for a table at the edge of the lawn over the water.
