Eelke Plasmeijer and Ray Adriansyah built Locavore into Bali's most internationally known kitchen, and its newer home, Locavore NXT, north of central Ubud, runs a hyper-local Indonesian tasting menu drawn from foraged and island-grown produce. The menu changes constantly, the fermented and the wild ingredients its signature, with a tasting around IDR 2,000,000 a head. It opens Monday for dinner from half past five and rests instead on Sunday, which makes a Monday one of the easier nights to book the island's most sought-after seat.
