The Room
La Brisa opened in 2017 on the foreshore of Echo Beach in Canggu. A beach club expertly hand-decorated with reclaimed wood from over 500 old fishing boats, blending rustic artistry with coastal architecture. The dining room runs from the ocean's edge upward through a series of terraces, each with its own kitchen, bar and sunset view. The result is one of the most-photographed beach-club restaurants in Asia.
The room seats 250 across the multiple terraces, the bar and the daybed lounging area. Service is beach-Bali warm. Booking the upper-terrace tables for sunset is the way to go; the lower-terrace tables remain casual and walk-in friendly.
The Food
The kitchen runs char-grilled seafood at the heart of the menu: tiger prawns, whole reef fish, lobster, sustainable Indonesian-source-only catch. Wood-fired pizza programme runs alongside; the ceviche programme is one of Bali's better; the cocktail list is Indonesian-spirits-leaning with handcrafted ingredients.
The sunset hour (5:30-7:00pm) is the room's signature moment. The architecture, the ocean and the light combine into the photograph that brings most diners here.
Best Occasion Fit
Birthday: La Brisa for a milestone birthday delivers what no other Bali restaurant can: an Echo Beach sunset, char-grilled tiger prawns, and a beach-club cocktail programme. Book the upper-terrace table for the sunset window.
First Date: The upper-terrace two-tops at sunset are among Bali's best first-date seats. The view does the work; the cocktails do the rest.
Team Dinner: La Brisa's daybed-and-terrace format is built for casual group dinners. The team can spread across multiple seating zones with shared seafood platters.
