About Veya

Veya Restaurant is the chef-driven fine-dining institution of Carrie and Jerry Bogar. Opened in 2007 in a magical 'Indonesian treehouse' setting on Sandy Ground in the central harbour quarter. And is the island's most reliable serious-occasion dining room. The restaurant has been attracting rave reviews since opening and is one of Anguilla's most popular dining experiences.

The cuisine is contemporary Caribbean. Signatures include the famous Jerk-spiced tuna; Moroccan-spiced lamb chops; a Caribbean-lobster bisque with chablis; a slow-cooked Caribbean goat with West-Indian spices; a wood-fired Caribbean snapper; the famous 'tropical fruit pavlova' for the dessert course.

The wine list features over 100 selections. Deep French Champagne and Burgundy coverage, plus a respectable Caribbean-rum programme. Sommelier Bogar himself runs the floor.

The dining room and treehouse setting together hold seventy-two covers. Service is family-run.

Why It's Perfect for Proposal

Veya is the proposal-grade table in Anguilla. The magical 'Indonesian treehouse' setting is the conversation, the Bogar institutional pedigree settles the credibility question, and the kitchen's mid-tier register makes a multi-course dinner accessible.
