How to Book Nōema in Mykonos

Eight in the evening in the Nōema courtyard: raw concrete, tropical green, candle smoke, and a DJ who will not touch the decks for another two hours. Reservations run through OpenTable from noemamykonos.com — book at least 48 hours out, and well more for July and August weekends.

Why the Courtyard Books Out

Nōema occupies a former open-air cinema in Chora, five minutes from Little Venice, and it is the town-side flagship of Richard Caring’s Caprice Holdings on the island — designed by K-Studio, the Athens firm whose fingerprints are on half of what Mykonos photographs. The room follows the light: dinner in the courtyard from eight, the DJ arriving around ten, and the line between restaurant and scene dissolving somewhere after the last dessert. Our Nōema review treats it as the town’s best answer to a specific question: dinner that becomes a night without moving.

Because it is one courtyard with one season — doors opened 15 May for 2026 — supply is fixed and the demand is the whole town’s. Weekend tables in high summer are the pressure point; a Tuesday in June is a phone call.

The channel. OpenTable, linked from the official site — not SevenRooms, which trips up guests who assume every Mykonos room runs on it. Failing the widget: +30 228 944 82 77 or [email protected].

The window. Doors at 20:00, service to 01:00, nightly through the season. Book the 20:00–20:30 slots for conversation; from 22:00 the courtyard is a scene and dinner becomes its soundtrack. Two days ahead is a floor, not a ceiling — treat prime weekends like a club table, not a taverna.

The table. Ask for the courtyard proper, under the greenery. Tables at the edge of the bar zone get the DJ first and the conversation last.

Chef Athinagoras Kostakos, a decade at Bill & Coo before this, cooks island produce with more restraint than the setting suggests: sea bass ceviche with Mykonian fennel leche; smoked tarama with sun-dried tomato and carob rusk; dry-aged red snapper carpaccio with shaved fennel and lemon oil; grilled octopus with Florina pepper aivar; a veal-cheek orzo with truffle and Mykonian graviera that has become the room’s quiet signature; slow-roast pork chops in a cinnamon-anise crust for the table. Nōema publishes its menus without prices — read that as the statement it is. Budget at the top of the island’s $$$$ band and order the snapper carpaccio before the courtyard fills.

Play It Right

Book the first seating, eat unhurried, and let the DJ arrive around you — you keep the table while the queue forms outside. If the night is the point, come at eleven and drink instead; if dinner is the point and the date is gone, Kenshō Ornos and Nōema’s town rival Interni hold the same dinner-to-party arc. Dress is smart — Mykonos linen, not beach kit. The wider map is in our Mykonos dining guide, and the impress-clients list rates the courtyard for exactly that job.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should you book Nōema Mykonos?

At least 48 hours for a normal night, and considerably more for July–August weekends — the courtyard is single-room inventory in peak season. Book via OpenTable from the official site, or call +30 228 944 82 77. The 20:00 first seating is the easiest to land.

Who is the chef at Nōema?

Athinagoras Kostakos, who spent ten years at Bill & Coo before taking the Nōema kitchen. The menu is Aegean product-first: sea bass ceviche with fennel leche, dry-aged snapper carpaccio, veal-cheek orzo with truffle and Mykonian graviera. The venue belongs to Richard Caring’s Caprice Holdings, with design by K-Studio.

How much does dinner at Nōema cost?

Nōema publishes its menus without prices — plan for the top of Mykonos’s $$$$ band, comparable to the island’s other flagship rooms once wine and the evening’s length are counted. The first seating, eaten as dinner rather than as a night out, is the controllable version of the bill.

When is Nōema open?

Seasonally, from mid-May — the 2026 season opened 15 May — with service nightly from 20:00 to 01:00 through the summer. The DJ program builds from about 22:00, so the same booking is a different evening depending on the hour you choose.

Is Nōema a restaurant or a party?

Both, sequenced. Until ten it is a serious Aegean dinner in a K-Studio courtyard; after ten the music takes the room and the tables that remain become the best seats of the night. Book early to eat, late to join — and never expect the quiet version on an August Saturday.
