Erik Bruner-Yang opened Maketto on H Street in 2015 — a chef-driven Cambodian-Taiwanese dining room dedicated to the proposition that DC needed a serious modern-Southeast-Asian destination. The James Beard Foundation has shortlisted Bruner-Yang for Best Chef Mid-Atlantic.
Eater DC has held Maketto on its top-H-Street rankings every year of operation.
