The Room
Floriana opened on 17th Street in 2008 — a serious neighbourhood-Italian dining room dedicated to a working in-house pasta programme. Seventeen years later the room is one of DC's most-enduring Dupont Italian institutions.
Eater DC has held Floriana on its top-Dupont rankings every year of operation.
The Food
The pasta programme is hand-rolled in the kitchen daily. The seasonal-rotating Italian secondi, the antipasti programme run as the menu's spine.
Wine programme is Italian. Cocktails are aperitivi-led.
