The Room
Rose Previte opened Compass Rose on T Street in 2014 — a serious international small-plates dining room dedicated to drawing from Italy, Lebanon, Spain, and the Caucasus across a single chef-driven menu. Previte also opened the Michelin-recommended Maydan.
Eater DC has held Compass Rose on its top-14th-Street rankings every year of operation.
The Food
The international small-plates programme — Italian, Lebanese, Spanish, Georgian, Senegalese — handles the menu. The seasonal-rotating preparations run a working chef-driven discipline.
Cocktail programme is global-spice-led. Wine programme is small.
