About El-Goli Rotating Restaurant

Located within the El-Goli park complex on the southern edge of central Tabriz, the El-Goli rotating restaurant provides stunning city views and serves top-quality Persian cuisine, perfect for trying Tabrizi specialties like Kufteh Tabrizi (stuffed meatballs) in a classic Persian decor setting. The rotating dining format — the floor rotates a full 360 degrees over the course of the dinner service — gives guests continuous changing views over the El-Goli park lake and the surrounding Tabriz cityscape.

The menu is Persian classics with Tabrizi specialties. Mixed Chelo Kabab Soltani (35), Kufteh Tabrizi (28), Shahkar Kebab (32), Khoresh-e Fesenjan (28), and a small-but-solid Persian-modern fusion section. The tasting menu (five courses, 90 per person) is the kitchen's primary recommended format for first-time visitors and includes appetisers, three Persian mains, dessert, and saffron-tea.

The rotating-tower architecture is the room's whole pitch. The restaurant occupies the top floor of the El-Goli observation tower, with a continuous 360-degree window facing the park and the Tabriz skyline. The slow rotation (one full revolution over approximately two hours) gives guests changing views throughout the dinner — Tabriz mountain views to the north, El-Goli lake and park views to the west, the city skyline to the east, and the historic Tabriz Bazaar district to the south. Capacity is fifty across the rotating dining hall plus a small fixed-floor private booth area.

Reservations matter — the prime sunset hours (6:30-7:30pm) book two weeks ahead for weekend evenings. The restaurant accepts cards and the staff speak strong English. The post-dinner walk through the El-Goli park lake area at 9-10pm is the proper close to the evening — the lake is lit until midnight.

Best Occasion Fit

For a marriage proposal in Tabriz, the rotating tower and the El-Goli sunset view make the restaurant the city's clearest answer — request the prime window booth, tell the staff in advance, and they will pace the meal to the moment. Birthdays — the rotating-view-and-multi-course-tasting format is properly celebratory. For impressing visiting international clients, the architectural setting flatters the guest in a way no other Tabriz restaurant matches.
