AG takes its name from the old silver factory — Aktiebolaget Guld — that houses the restaurant on Kronobergsgatan in Kungsholmen. Chef Johan Jureskog converted the industrial space into one of the most distinctive dining rooms in Stockholm: exposed brick, high ceilings, the original factory architecture preserved and converted into a setting that is simultaneously dramatic and intimate. The kitchen's focus is unapologetically on meat. Jureskog works with Swedish and international producers to source dry-aged beef that is butchered and prepared in-house, and the results have attracted the kind of following that typically accumulates around Michelin-starred restaurants.
