Witness opened on Broadway in 2014 — a speakeasy-style Capitol Hill cocktail bar dedicated to a serious craft-cocktail programme. The dining room is intentionally cinematic: framed black-and-white photographs, dark-wood paneling, a long bar.
Eater Seattle has held Witness on its top-cocktail-bar rankings every year of operation.
The Food
The cocktail programme runs classic-American with a Southern-influenced bench. The small-bites kitchen runs Southern-influenced gastropub.
