About Six Seven

Six Seven is the dining room of The Edgewater, the hotel built out over the water on Pier 67 in 1962 — the one where the Beatles famously fished from their window in 1964. It is the only restaurant in Seattle that dines directly over Elliott Bay, with floor-to-ceiling glass framing the water and the Olympic Mountains beyond.

The Kitchen

Executive chef Jesse Souza cooks seasonal Pacific Northwest seafood with Pan-Asian and regional-American accents. The signatures are a miso-glazed black cod with coconut-ginger rice cake and sesame beurre blanc, and a cedar-planked king salmon with truffle cream and local honey; a Dungeness crab and shrimp cake opens many tables.

Mains land in the $40–60 range, so expect roughly $70–90 a head with a starter and a glass of wine. The list leans hard into boutique Washington, Oregon and Northern California producers.

The Room

The room is all about the view: low light inside so the water reads bright through the glass, timber and stone finishes that nod to the Northwest lodge, and tables angled toward Elliott Bay. Sunset service is the one to book. It is warm and unbuttoned rather than formal.

Dress is smart-casual; a window table at golden hour does more for the mood than any amount of ceremony.

Best for an Anniversary

Six Seven is made for an anniversary at sunset: it is the only Seattle dining room actually over Elliott Bay, so a window table at golden hour hands you the view without any work. Chef Jesse Souza's miso black cod gives the meal a centrepiece, and the relaxed room suits a first date just as well as a quiet table to impress clients from out of town.

Not for

Not for diners chasing cutting-edge fine dining or a bargain — it is a hotel waterfront restaurant where the Elliott Bay view, not avant-garde cooking, is the reason to book.
