Daniel Kane opened Single Shot on Summit Avenue in 2013 — a chef-driven modern-American dining room dedicated to the proposition that Capitol Hill needed a working neighbourhood-fine-dining destination. The dining room is intentionally tiny.
Eater Seattle has held Single Shot on its top-twenty rankings every year of operation.
The Food
The menu rotates with the seasonal harvest. The wood-grilled bavette, the seasonal Pacific seafood, the rotating modern-American preparations run as the menu's spine.
Wine programme is small-producer. Cocktails are short and considered.
