The Room
Ethan Stowell opened Mkt in Greenwood in 2010 — a tiny chef-driven neighbourhood-bistro, the most-personal of the Stowell-group small-room operations. The dining room is intentionally tiny: thirty seats, exposed brick, four-tops along the western wall.
The Seattle Times has held Mkt on its top-Greenwood rankings every year of operation.
The Food
The pasta programme is hand-rolled. The seasonal-rotating modern-American preparations, the wood-grilled secondi, the chef's tasting at $65 handle the menu's wider draws.
Wine programme is small-producer. Cocktails are short and considered.
