The Room

Cormac Mahoney opened Eve in Madrona in 2014 — a chef-driven modern-American dining room with Pacific Northwest sourcing. Eleven years later the room is the working argument for what Madrona's neighbourhood-fine-dining can mean.

Eater Seattle has held Eve on its top-twenty rankings every year of operation.

The Food

The menu rotates with the seasonal harvest — the wood-grilled bavette, the seasonal Pacific seafood, the rotating preparations. The chef's tasting at $75 is the order for a first visit.

Wine programme is small-producer Pacific Northwest. Cocktails are short and considered.

Best Occasion Fit

First Date: The bar at Eve is one of Madrona's most-reliable first-date seats.

Birthday: Birthdays at Eve are warm, chef-driven affairs the room has hosted for over a decade.

Solo Dining: The bar at Eve is one of the better Seattle solo-dining seats.
