Le Papillon

In 1977, Mike Mashayekh opened Le Papillon in a remodeled coffee shop at 410 Saratoga Avenue in West San Jose. Almost half a century later, the kitchen has not stopped. That kind of longevity at the highest level of French cuisine is not accidental — it is the product of a family that genuinely believes in what it does, in a city that has come to depend on it for the most important occasions in life.

Le Papillon specializes in contemporary French cuisine built on sustainable, organic ingredients that change with the California seasons. The kitchen does not offer à la carte.
