About Dwie Poziomki

Dwie Poziomki ('Two Wild Strawberries') is Poznan's Slow Food chapter headquarters in restaurant form — every supplier listed on a wall board, every meat traced to a specific farm, every grain accountable. The cooking is contemporary-Polish in structure but lands closer to farm-to-table European in execution. Wielkopolska goose is a signature, as is the aged beef from the Karminski herd in northern Greater Poland.

The room is vaulted-cellar with exposed brick and candlelit — a format that works particularly well for business dinners where the conversation needs to stay private. Tables are well-spaced; the lighting is dark enough to make documents awkward (a useful constraint) and warm enough to make the room feel like hospitality rather than a meeting.

The wine list is where the restaurant separates from its peers: 250+ labels with a strong Central European section (Slovenia, Austria, Czech) alongside the French classics. The sommelier can walk a table through a flight of Grüner Veltliner or Blaufränkisch with the patience that a serious client dinner rewards.

Pricing lands in the middle of the Poznan fine-dining band — 450-600 PLN per person for a full dinner with wine. This keeps it practical as a repeat room for ongoing negotiations rather than a one-time show.

Best Occasion Fit

Deal-closing dinners work best in rooms where the setting signals seriousness without theatre. Dwie Poziomki's cellar format, traceable sourcing, and wine depth all communicate the same thing: this is a restaurant that takes its own standards seriously, and by extension, the people dining here do as well. The signal reaches the counterparty without being spoken.
