About Malibu Farm Miami

Malibu Farm Miami opened in 2021 on the pool deck of the Mandarin Oriental Miami as the first East Coast location of chef Helene Henderson's Malibu pier restaurant (original 2013). The format is farm-to-table Californian in a resort all-day-dining posture, operating through breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The menu is produce-forward and often seasonal: heirloom tomato salad with burrata, cauliflower pizza, a signature Malibu chopped salad, organic chicken, wild salmon with quinoa, and a compact dessert programme. Dinners land $50-90 per person. The bar pours a substantial non-alcoholic programme alongside a 60-bottle wine list.

The pool-deck terrace sits directly on Brickell Key with full views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami downtown skyline. The dining room is bright-Californian with blonde woods, rattan seating, and a deliberately relaxed acoustic environment. The lunch-to-sunset arc is the signature service and the restaurant handles solo diners and small first dates particularly well.

Best Occasion Fit

Malibu Farm is a first-date choice that puts the Mandarin Oriental waterfront and the Biscayne Bay skyline to work. The daytime format offers a natural exit if the date is short, and the menu avoids the commitment of a full tasting-menu evening.
