About Beaker & Gray
Beaker & Gray opened on North Miami Avenue in Wynwood in 2015 under chef-owners Brian Nasajon (kitchen) and Brad Kilgore-alumnus Ben Potts (bar) and was one of the first independent neighbourhood restaurants to establish the district as a serious dining address. The main dining room seats 90, the back cocktail bar seats another 40.
The menu runs seasonal small plates with a strong Asian-influence streak: a signature sweet-chilli duck wing, Thai-marinated short-rib lettuce wraps, short-rib pappardelle, seared corvina with citrus, and a charcuterie board from house-made cuts. Dinners land $55-95 per person. The bar programme has been among the most-awarded in Miami for years.
The back bar is the regular's destination — 40 seats around a marble-topped counter with an in-house-aged barrel programme, a rotating menu of originals, and one of the city's most serious amaro and agave spirit selections. The two rooms can be booked separately and the bar is a strong after-dinner extension of the dining room experience.
Best Occasion Fit
Beaker & Gray is a first-date room that offers two connected venues for one reservation. The dining room handles the dinner, the back bar handles the drink after, and the Wynwood location provides the walking-tour-of-murals interlude between the two if the date warrants it.
