About NOAH Krakow

NOAH opened on Stradomska Street, the connecting road between the Old Town and Kazimierz, in 2022 and has, in three short years, become one of the most talked-about kitchens in Krakow. The dining room is mid-sized and confidently designed: dark navy walls, a long polished concrete bar at the front, an open kitchen with a wood-fire grill, and a long sharing-style banquette that runs the depth of the room.

The cooking is modern Polish with a clear wood-fire identity. A signature wood-fired sourdough with whipped Mazovian-butter and confit egg yolk that the room has built its reputation around. Cured Vistula trout with horseradish-cream and dill oil. Wood-roasted whole Tatra lamb shoulder for four, finished tableside with rosemary and Polish-honey glaze. The vegetable cooking is unusually thoughtful — fire-roasted leeks with brown butter, charred hispi cabbage with anchovy cream, a smoked-celeriac steak that is one of the best vegetarian fine-dining plates in the country.

The wine programme is one of the more interesting in Krakow — a deliberate small-producer European programme with a strong Austrian, Hungarian and Georgian bias, the city's best Polish-wine selection, and a useful by-the-glass programme. The cocktail list is the kitchen's particular pride — a proper modern bar programme that anchors the front of the room.

Dinner with wine lands around 380 PLN per guest. NOAH is the room every Krakow local recommends for a celebration that has to feel both contemporary and properly festive — generous, confident, and able to handle a group of 8-15 without losing service quality.

Why It's Perfect for Birthday

NOAH is the Krakow birthday room. The wood-fire setting and the long sharing-banquette layout are inherently celebratory, the whole-roasted-lamb-for-four format gives a group something dramatic and shareable, the wine list is broad enough to make everyone in the table happy, and the staff handle a large birthday booking with proper warmth and pace. Book the long banquette for groups of six to twelve.
