The boma dinner — eaten around a central fire in a traditional enclosure, with drumming, stargazing, and communal sharing of game meat dishes — is the lodge's signature experience. The meats include crocodile (rich, faintly fishy), kudu (lean and clean), and the game sausages that Botswana's hunting and conservation culture has refined over generations.
The river cruise, available at sunset, combines pre-dinner drinks with wildlife watching on the Chobe River as the herds come to drink.
