The name means 'gently' or 'slowly' in Ottoman Turkish, which describes both the kitchen's approach to cooking and the pace at which the restaurant intends evenings to unfold. Fourteen seats, arranged around a single room, create the intimacy of a private dining experience with the professionalism of a serious restaurant.

The menu changes daily based on what the kitchen has sourced from the markets and producers it works with across Anatolia and the Aegean. The cooking's thesis is straightforward: Turkish ingredients prepared with precision and seasonal intelligence, in the tradition of Anatolian home cooking elevated by technique rather than replaced by it.
