About Fayrouz Lebanese Restaurant

Fayrouz Lebanese Restaurant is the dedicated-Lebanese venue inside the Sheraton Dammam Hotel & Convention Centre — the brand-name Lebanese-cuisine destination that has held the Eastern-Province celebration-dinner-and-Lebanese-business-community reputation since the 1990s. Named for the legendary Lebanese singer Fayrouz, the restaurant runs the live-oud-and-darbuka background music, the table-side mezze service, and the Beirut-style dining-room formality.

The menu is the Lebanese canon at brand-flagship execution. The signatures are the open-mezze spread (hummus, baba ghanoush, fattoush, tabbouleh, kibbeh, sambousek, vine leaves) — twenty-plus small plates served around the table; the charcoal-grilled mixed-grill (shish taouk chicken, kofta beef, lamb-cubes); the saj-bread baked-to-order; and the famous Lebanese knafeh-with-rosewater dessert. A multi-course Lebanese dinner for two with the open-mezze spread, two grills, and the desserts runs SAR 350-500 ($95-135).

The room is the Eastern-Province Lebanese-business-community standby. The Beirut-style dining-room, the live-oud-and-darbuka music (running Thursday-Saturday evenings), the table-side bread-baking from the open-tannour, and the senior Lebanese-waitstaff service make Fayrouz the standard-issue Saudi-Lebanese-celebration-dinner venue. Capacity is around 200 across the main dining hall and the private salons.

Reservations matter for the Friday-Saturday weekend evenings and the Lebanese-community-celebration peaks; one week ahead is enough. The restaurant accepts cards, the menu carries Arabic-English-French, and the post-dinner Lebanese-coffee-and-baklawa service is the conventional close.

Best Occasion Fit

For birthdays — the Lebanese open-mezze format and the live-oud background read as proper-celebration without going stiff; the kitchen will plate a birthday cake. For team dinners the long-table mezze-sharing format delivers the bonding-friendly rhythm. As a first date the Lebanese-formal-but-warm setting reads as making-the-effort.
