About Galleria
Galleria Cefalù is the Maranto-family-run modern dining room on Via Mandralisca. Three streets from the Cathedral, in the Centro Storico. And is the village's most photographed view-driven dining setting. The restaurant occupies a converted 19th-century townhouse with a south-facing rooftop terrace overlooking the Duomo's twin Norman bell-towers and the La Rocca cliff above.
The cuisine is contemporary Mediterranean with deep regional sourcing through the Cefalù small-fleet fishing cooperative. Signatures include a hand-rolled busiate alla trapanese with Mazzara red prawn; a slow-cooked Mediterranean octopus with green olive and lemon confit; a Pachino-tomato risotto with Avola almonds; a wood-fired Cefalù dentice with Tyrrhenian-coast salt; the famous 'cassatina al pistacchio di Bronte' for the dessert course.
The wine list runs to 250 references with deep Sicilian coverage. Etna DOC, Cerasuolo di Vittoria, Marsala. And a tightly chosen Italian-national section. Glass pours start at €5 and the by-the-glass programme runs a generous ten-glass Sicilian flight.
The dining room and rooftop terrace together hold seventy-two covers. Thirty-six in the indoor dining room, thirty-six on the south-facing rooftop terrace. The summer terrace is the experience: south-facing, with the most photographed Cefalù dinner view, and a kitchen that times the dessert course with the sunset for diners booked on the terrace at the appropriate evening hour.
Why It's Perfect for Birthday
Galleria Cefalù is the birthday-night room in Cefalù when the dinner needs to feel like an event. The rooftop terrace overlooking the Duomo is the conversation; the kitchen's mid-tier register is reachable; the room's volume on a Saturday night is celebratory. Book the south-terrace corner four-top at sunset for the canonical Cefalù dinner view.
